POSITION SUMMARIES 

 

We are looking for DJs that have the ability to perform solo and in various configurations with other Musicians onboard to create a unique program of entertainment and a constantly evolving experience.

PERFORMANCE AND CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS

​

• To perform Solo or as part of a group.

• Song list of 200+ tracks and mixes

• Ability to take song requests

• To perform Solo or as part of a group.

• To be an experienced lounge DJ with all music (DJ equipment will be provided)

• To be in guest areas for up to 8 hours daily (Includes performance time)

• Performances to be split into sets as required.

• To perform 6 Days per week or 12 Days in 14 Days as required.

• To perform at any time required by the Entertainment Ambassador.

• To attend all rehearsals prior to boarding as required.

• To submit full repertoire to the Musical Director on employment confirmation.

• Musician must be a holder of a valid passport with expiry no sooner than 1 year before the end of the contract date. 

• Performances will takes place during an 8 hour window. During this time Musicians may also be required for onboard engagements.

• To conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times whether in passenger or crew areas.

• To dress in an appropriate manner when in passenger areas.

• To engage guests in a professional and courteous manner at all times. 

• To take song requests or alter playlists and repertoire as required.

• To rehearse sets and configurations as needed throughout the contract. 

• The DJ must provide all his/her own music and download and purchase additional songs/mixes if requested. Repertoire to include a broad range of musical styles and genres.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

ONBOARD DUTIES

•  The Musician will be required to interact with guests prior to and after their performances.

• Attend Formal Evenings, Onboard Events, Social Gatherings and Activations onboard within an 8 hour window if required.

PREFERENCES

 

• Holder of C1/D Visa.

• Holder of a Basic STCW Certificate

• Holder of a valid medical certificate.

• Ability to play multiple instruments.

• A performer in multiple languages.

• Having previously performed at a Marriott International Property.

• Experience in performing overseas.

• Familiarity an Operational experience with Q-LAB and/or Q-SYS

• All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.
